The report did identify one woman in apparent compliance near the fitting rooms who was later determined to be breastfeeding.

SUNRISE, FL — A new report emerging from the Victoria’s Secret at Sawgrass Mills Mall has found that a significant majority of women currently shopping in the store are allegedly not complying with clearly posted signage indicating that all bras should be half off.

The report, filed with the Better Business Bureau, covered all four quadrants of the store including the 2,000 sq. ft. PINK section and found that as of 2:14 p.m. on Saturday, an estimated 95 percent of women observed on the premises had not removed any portion of their brassieres, despite prominent in-store signage indicating they should do so.

“The signs are right there,” said the report’s author, who asked not to be identified but described himself as a regional logistics consultant who had stopped in to buy something for his girlfriend. “Big pink ones. You can’t miss them. It says all bras. All of them.”

The author praised Victoria’s Secret for what he called a “smart, male-friendly policy,” noting that it appeared specifically designed to draw men into the store to shop for their significant others. “They want guys in here,” he said. “I get it. They put up the signs, they get the men in the door. I’m just not seeing the follow-through on the women’s end. False advertising—that’s what this is.”

He reserved particular criticism for store employees. “I don’t know what their enforcement mechanism is for the general public,” he said, “but you’d think they’d at least require the women who work here to adhere to their own advertised policy. Set an example. That’s just good retail.”

The report did identify one woman in apparent compliance near the fitting rooms. The investigator later determined she was breastfeeding. “That still counts,” confirmed the man.

The findings have prompted renewed questions about accountability at Victoria’s Secret retail locations, where policy signage has historically operated on an honor system. A Victoria’s Secret spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment but did make sustained eye contact with the report’s author from across the store while walking in the opposite direction.

The report noted several possible explanations for the low compliance rate, including consumer unfamiliarity with the policy and ambiguity in the signage itself, “which I just don’t see,” said the man.

“I was planning on coming back next week for my wife’s birthday—when a similar thong policy will supposedly go into effect—but now I’m not so sure,” said the man, who had at some point acquired an FBI hat. “Federal Booby Inspector. Spencer’s, second floor.”

Sawgrass Mills Mall security could not be reached for comment but is expected to release a statement shortly.
