HOLLYWOOD — The Fast and the Furriest, the new film from Marlon and Shawn Wayans about a retired DEA agent who must reassemble his old crew — all of whom are golden retrievers — is generating significant Oscar buzz following a series of early screenings, according to the film's publicist.

"The Oscar talk has been an unexpected surprise," said a representative for the Wayans brothers. “One source mentioned four-plus Oscars. Honestly, we don't know what to say. I don't know what to say."

The film, which will stream exclusively on Tubi starting Friday, has not yet been rated by the MPAA, though early descriptions strongly suggest a fun night in for the entire family.

The Wayans brothers were unavailable for comment.
